This course exposes students to effective practices in supervision, technical competence, personal factors, the therapeutic and supervisory alliance, diversity competence, ethical and legal responsibilities and case management and evaluation. This course is a clinical course. Students will be assigned undergraduate or masters counselling students for clinical supervision. Students will use their supervisory model to supervise students at individual, triadic, and group supervision over the course of at least 6 continuous sessions. Students will meet their Supervisor of Supervisors once or twice a month to explore challenges in their developing roles as clinical supervisors.
